Google testing pay per action with Adsense

The payment model of AdSense has been very simple since its creation: one adds adsense code to a web page, and is paid by clicks on ads, or by number of views. This has benefited millions of users, including Google itself, as has been seen in the previous financial results of the company.

Now, it seems that Google is willing to enter a related segment of the online advertisement, introducing pay per action. In this model, instead of paying by click, Google pays based on a result, which can be a successful selling, a subscription for a service, etc. This model may be harder to track, but may also give even better results for advertisers and adsense publishers.

The reason is that with pay per action the publisher can participate not only on the initial lead, but of the results of the company. For the advertisers, on the other hand, this reduces the risk, since it will pay only for the result it wants, what can avoid problems such as click fraud.

By now, pay per action is only in beta test, with only a few publishers participating. But we should expect this to become another option available to all publishers and advertisers. A baby care web site. There are several ways you can approach baby care: finding names for babies, health issues, education and socialization, diets for babies. All these examples are related, but consider different needs of parents. You may want to specialize your web site such that only the information they want is displayed and other topics are provided using major category links.

Using this segmentation strategy is important because it gives the most value for your users, and at the same time concentrates the topics of your web pages in specific areas. In this way, it is easier for Google bots to figure out your main topic and provide targeted ads.

Writing adsense websites is a nice experience, but it requires web masters to manage well the content and the presentation of their pages. When creating Adsense websites, one of the questions that many web mastera have is how long should be the content of each page or post.

There are of course two extreme answers to the question .The first answer is to try to create posts that are long and full of information. This is an alternative that people with very good intentions try to follow. After all, adsense websites have the main objective of conveying information to viewers looking for specific products or services.

Notice, however, that creating pages that are too long you incur in the risk of boring your visitor. You don't want a newcomer visitor to leave prematurely because he or she finds the content too dull.

Adsense is well know to be a great income generating program for web masters and bloggers in general. However, it is sometimes difficult to quantify how much growth and revenue can be expected from an adsense website.

A good answer to this question has been given by Steve Pavlina is his web site. He has charted the curve of income growth by month, as well as number of viewers per month.

Adsense tip of the day: Ad colors

The adsense program provides great flexibility in the way users interact with the page ads. Although Google provides you with a standard color template, it doesn't mean that you have to stick to it by any means.

First, notice that having ads with a color that doesn't match you page style is bad for your click through rate. You should in general have ads matching the colors of your page as much as possible.
